The Applications Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the enterprise applications that are vital to VHA Home HealthCare operations. This position will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support daily operations, develop and implement comprehensive testing plans for new enhancements, updates, cumulative fixes and service feature packs. Attention to detail is crucial in this role. The Applications Specialist must possess a solid understanding of the business workflows used by end-users in home healthcare settings and be capable of translating these requirements into development specifications and testing scenarios. Additionally, this position requires close collaboration with application vendors to ensure the timely and thorough resolution of identified issues. The Applications Specialist will provide Level 2 support (and Level 1 support as needed), addressing escalations from the VHA’s service desk team and responding to direct inquiries from end-users. #INVHACorp
