Project 12-Ways is a comprehensive in-home behavioral service providing training to families with a history of child abuse and neglect. This is a term, full-time, Researcher I position within the Rehabilitation Institute. It is an appointment in the Project 12-Ways program that is grant funded.
The target salary offer for this position is $3,334.00 monthly, with an overall earning potential of the full pay range for this position is $40,008.00 annually. Final salary offer will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints
Examples of Duties
Assist in the collection and maintenance of treatment, program evaluation, and quality control data. Provide technical assistance to project counselors and research staff in the direct in-home delivery of treatment to families with a child abuse history. The most complex problems faced by this position are the requirement to have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of clients, the requirement to remain composed and professional dealing with non-compliant clients, and the requirement to be able to spend 90 minutes in homes with environmental neglect.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Social Work, by date of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference for experience in working with the child welfare system or in behavioral analysis and therapy. Must be able to demonstrate flexibility in maintaining a changing schedule and a full client caseload. Services are provided for clients in less than desirable conditions that may include severe environmental neglect, multiple animals in the home, and roach and other insect infestations.
